Twitter Hopes Corporate with Facebook
Although both the social network media service that was rising and familiar, Twitter and Facebook until now has not been any long term cooperation. As a “younger brother” who has fewer user bases, Twitter was still hoping to collaborate with Facebook.
“We always ask and see the possibilities of cooperation. However, so far no signs of both parties,” said Evan Williams, co-founder of Twitter, the Web 2.0 conference in San Francisco, USA, on Thursday (11/18/2010 .) Williams expressed his disappointment because Facebook prohibits the integration of a list of contacts that allows each user can see whether their friends use both services or not. He wanted to twitter users can directly connect to up for Facebook experience better.
“But we understand their position. They saw the social graph as its main asset,” said Williams. So far Twitter users can at most only once a status update on up through third-party applications.
As an illustration, up which began online in 2004 has been to attract subscribers to 500 million people. Meanwhile, the new Twitter operation in 2006 has now attracted about 165 million users.
