Using Android as Credit Cards Usefulness

This is the new innovation that Google’s attempt at market driven. The Android platform has now been widely used Smartphone various brands will be developed in order to turn their phones into a means of payment of financial transactions as well as credit cards.

Google CEO Eric Schmidt was showing off a prototype mobile phone at the opening of Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, USA, on Monday (15/11/2010). From the outside view is not different from other Android-based Smartphone, but the components in it have been equipped with special chips that support Near Field Communication technology. According to Schmidt, the latest version of Android, called Gingerbread, it will support this technology.“This could replace the function of credit cards,” said Schmidt. To enable the payment system, users must use a Smartphone that uses NFC chip and operating system Android. Users just need to get closer to certain signs in the goods to be purchased to make automatic payments.

Schmidt confirmed that Google will focus on working with developer’s processor technology and will not establish special relationships with retailers. Cooperation submitted independently fixed transaction between credit card issuers and sellers of goods. Google also will not attract a fee from the transaction through such technology.

Schmidt did not know when the dreams really use a lot of people. However, sooner or later people will leave a credit card and financial transactions directly from a cell phone. Just wait!

Dell Entries Mobile As the Main Business

News of the closure of Communication Solutions Group (CSG) at Dell and the end position as boss Ron Baroques does not mean the company stopped development of mobile devices that is experiencing rapid growth today. Dell actually middle balances into all core business are not just for consumer products.

“Dell is doing organizational change,” Dell said in a statement received Kompas.com, Monday (22/11/2010). “We integrate CSG into our core operational structure to improve efficiency in mobile product development, sales and operations,” continued the statement.Dell recognized, opportunities in the mobile market has rapidly grown beyond Dell’s initiatives so far only focused on consumer products alone. Therefore, the CSG will be combined into all Dell business units in the large enterprise, consumer / small and medium businesses, as well as the public sector. This is a Dell’s commitment to focus on the mobility of the larger and more integrated in all segments of Dell.

“As we do this integration, Ron Garriques has decided to pursue other opportunities. He will help manage the transition until the end of this fiscal year, and then he will go to provide consulting services until December 31, 2011,” added the statement Dell.

CSG is newly formed business units end of 2009 led by Ron Garreques into business units focused on mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and the like. Dell Streak produced one of the CSG products.
